Description
Conversations with City Leaders - A series of informational program to familiarize you with the City and it's leadership.
Meg McWade, Director of Public Works
Meg McWade, joined the City of Fullerton in 2019. Prior to joining the city, she served as Public Works Director for the City of Pomona where she also worked as the Public Works Deputy Director, Utility Services Manager, Business Services Manager, and Budget Manager, among other positions in her 27 years of public service.
In addition to prioritizing improvements to the City’s streets, Meg has been implementing a reorganization of the Public Works Department utilizing recommendations from a recent third-party assessment. This includes restricting various positions to include using current positions for a new City Engineer/Assistant Director position (to be recruited for soon) and will hire a new Water Services Manager to lead a reorganized Water Utility Division. Meg brings to Fullerton considerable Public Works experience as well as financial and budget experience to help prioritize the City’s focus on infrastructure and street improvements
