Many Californians who meet the California Department of Public Health's criteria for increased susceptibility to COVID-19 infection are concerned about their ability to safely cast their ballot and have it be counted in the November 3rd General Election. To accommodate those individuals and to reduce community transmittal of the Novel Coronavirus, the State of California will be sending a vote-by-mail ballot to every registered voter with a prepaid postage return envelope (AB 860).
In addition, this fall, ballot drop boxes will be available, as will safe in-person voting opportunities with sufficient physical distancing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for voters who choose to go to polling locations (SB 423).
One of the safest, fastest, and easiest ways to vote is by mail this November.
