Every year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce ranks members of Congress for key business votes set out in its annual publication, How They Voted. Votes included in the rankings are Chamber-designated "key votes": recorded floor votes on issues established as priorities by the Chamber's board of directors, on which the Chamber communicates its position prior to the vote.

Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce honored 263 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 55 members of the U.S. Senate with its annual Spirit of Enterprise Award, given in recognition of their support for pro-growth policies in the second session of the 115th Congress. Next year, the criteria for the How They Voted score will be updated to reflect the U.S. Chamber's new congressional scorecard. Click here to see how they voted.
