  • OCCC Welcomes New Board Members

    The Orange County Conservation Corps is pleased to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors. They are:

    Bob Koontz: A radio broadcaster for more than 30 years, Bob was most recently VP Station Manager at ESPN Radio in Los Angeles. Prior to ESPN Radio, he held positions with KLOS/KABC and KMPC. At KLOS, Bob produced the Mark and Brian Celebrity Golf Tournaments, which generated more than $1 million for various charities. Bob and his wife Lori reside in Brea and are the parents of four grown sons.


    Ernesto Medrano: A labor movement leader, Ernesto has held positions with the United Farm Workers of America, AFL-CIO and the Teamsters. Currently, he serves as Council Representative for the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building Trades Council. He has also been appointed to several positions with the City of Anaheim, including current chair of the Anaheim Public Utilities Board. Ernesto is the father of three adult children. 


    Kris Murray: Kris is currently President and CEO of her own consulting firm, KLM Strategies, following more than 25 years of executive management experience with public agencies in Southern California. Prior to KLM, she held positions with Willdan Group, Inc., Orange County Council of Governments, and the Orange County Transportation Authority. From 2010-18, Kris served as Mayor Pro Tem and Councilwoman for the City of Anaheim.
