The California Department of Education recently released the College-Going Report
, which features data showing college enrollment at the state, county, district and school levels. The statewide average high school graduates enrolling in college was 66 percent, while 76 percent of high school graduates in Orange County went on to college in 2018.
All fifteen Orange County districts that operate high schools had a college-going rate well above the state average. The highest college enrollment rate in Orange County came from Los Alamitos Unified at 85%.
