California State University, Fullerton's Marketing Honors Networking Program (HNP) event creates networking opportunities for CSUF marketing students and top Orange County and Los Angeles County businesses. These opportunities often lead to mutually-beneficial careers, part-time jobs, internships, and/or mentorships.

The HNP allows companies to meet CSUF Honors Marketing Students at two events per year in the Mihaylo College of Business & Economics building on the CSUF campus. At each event, the best performing marketing students are invited to network and showcase their skills with prominent companies such as Orange Label Advertising, PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, KilentBoost, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and GMR Web Team.

These companies are then able to hire students for employment and offer scholarships to the CSUF Honors Marketing Students.

Talent Acquisition Manager-Southern California from Enterprise Holdings, Kim Martin, describes the synergy residing in the relationship between the Marketing Honors Networking Program and Enterprise:

“As a supporter of the Honors Networking Program for almost 20 years, I have been elated with the caliber of students I am able to meet each semester. CSUF has been a top school for recruiting candidates into our Management Trainee program at Enterprise Rent-A-Car over the last two decades. The training and development that MCBE provides for all their students, particularly for the Honors Marketing students, has been top notch. The students are articulate, professional, and armed with the skills necessary to enter this competitive job market. I’ve been lucky to interview many students each semester from the HNP, and more importantly have hired a student at almost every event attended.”
