The Fullerton Museum Center’s seasonal Haunted Fullerton Walking Tours will kick off on Wednesday, October 9 and run through Halloween. The evening’s spooky adventures will start with a Paranormal Open House at 5:30 in the museum auditorium featuring members of North Orange County Paranormal Society sharing the latest information about ghost hunting and revealing some of their startling recent evidence of the otherworldly. The walking portion of the tour begins at 6:00 and includes stops at some of Fullerton’s most historic sites: Plummer Auditorium, Le Potager, the Villa Del Sol, Angelo’s and Vinci’s, and more. A special feature of the tour this year is an exclusive inside look at the restoration of the historic Fox Theater, a site popular with moviegoers on both sides of the grave. Tours conclude at approximately 8:15 with a prepaid coupon for beer, wine, or soft drink at the Fullerton Museum Center Beer Garden (Thursdays) or at a haunted downtown watering hole on other nights.
The Haunted Fullerton Walking Tour, now in its 18th season, is an educational program of the Fullerton Museum Center. Tours are led by museum docents and include not only true ghost stories but also a wealth of historical information about the city and its colorful past.
