  • Fullerton COVID-19 CARES Act Programs Win Award

The City of Fullerton’s business friendly response to the pandemic and its use of County and State CARES Act funding earned the top award for Business Retention and Expansion from the Orange County Business Council’s Turning Red Tape into Red Carpet Business Awards program. The OCBC lauded our efforts to issue free outdoor dining permits, the issuance of over $1,116,000 in business grants, our emergency rental assistance, and Feed Fullerton program.

Feed Fullerton is a new City run program connecting low-income households with nutritious meals from Fullerton’s local eateries. It was developed as a community-based emergency feeding program created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this program is to bring healthy and nutritious meals to residents in need.
