Students at CSUF are continuing the remainder of the spring semester via online course instruction. This will allow for our students continue course or degree completion without interuption for the 2019-2020 academic year.
What does this mean for your recruitment needs?
We hope to make this a smooth transition for all, and therefore are continuing to offer all of our non-face to face services with the exception of career fairs and visibility tables to a virtual format. Below are list of virtual services you can take advantage of for the remainder of the spring semester (semester ends on May 22). Due to the current situation we are waiving virtual fees (excluding Resume Books) only for services rendered as of 3/20/20 until the end of the spring 2020 semester.

Post a Job/Internship – Looking to hire immediately for your part-time, full-time, or internship opportunity? Get started with posting your job to our database exclusively for CSUF Titans (all 40,000 of them!). All students including undergraduate, master candidates, and alumni 1 year out from graduation only have access to Titan Connection. Email Blasts – Not getting receiving any applications for your posted opportunities in Titan Connection? Take advantage of an email blast to your targeted student population (2 max per semester).
Titan Connection Web Advertisement – Promote your organization via a banner ad in Titan Connection for one month. You provide the background image and your brief message to promote your opportunity via your careers page or a direct email address. This is suggested during an immediate recruitment need to increase student views towards your opportunities.
Social Media Posts – If your organization has an Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter account we can promote your brand and opportunities via a “story poll” or just an old fashioned post with a link to your website or any other information you would like us to share with students.
Resume Books ($100) – Resume Books will allow you to review student resumes based on your targeted student population via your Titan Connection account.
Virtual Engagement Services
Still want to have a meaningful engagement and increase your branding/presence with students utilizing our virtual services? Check out the following examples of how you can connect with students via our Zoom Webinar Platform. We will provide you with link to login to your session and begin presenting to students as you would in a face-to-face setting. Additionally, students can ask questions via a chat box during or after the presentation.
Skill Based Virtual Sessions – Conduct a session on interview, resume, networking or many other career related topics. The Career Center will promote your virtual session to students via email blasts. You can also get creative with this one and provide industry content-based sessions such as technology usage specific to your industry (i.e. coding, adobe suite, etc). If your industry is more on the non-tech side, you can conduct a session on sales techniques or case studies unique to your organization.
A Day in the Life – Showcase an alumnus at your organization that can share what their position entails and what they love about their career. They can also share advice related to their education and professional journey.
Virtual Office Hours – Set up individual Zoom meetings with students, we can facilitate the promotion to students and office hour appointment set-up.
Co-Present a Workshop with a Career Specialist/Career Coach – Just prefer to jump in on a career center branded workshop and provide your employer perspective? We got you. Workshops included resume and cover letter skills, interview skills, LinkedIn how-to, and more.
