The North Orange County Chamber will recognize The Cellar Restaurant and other local enterprises at its annual Business and Excellence Leadership Awards (BELA) on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Summit House Restaurant.
Among multiple recognitions and awards, The Cellar was recently inducted into the Barons de Rothschild Ambassadors of Excellence Club. The Cellar Restaurant is the first in the United States to receive this honor. This international award is presented to restaurants with unique ambience, pristine service and a stellar wine program that includes Rothschild wines.
Ryan Dudley, who is celebrating his 15th year of ownership at The Cellar, acquired the 50-year-old Restaurant when he was just 28. Receiving worldwide recognition, The Cellar still upholds its elegant atmosphere reminiscent of Old Europe as it remains a distinct fine dining establishment in Fullerton.
Dudley continues to take on new ventures as this year he purchased another local restaurant rooted in Fullerton‘s History. Café Hidalgo, now known as ‘Hidalgo’s Cocina & Cócteles’, is located near The Cellar in the Historic Villa del Sol. Hidalgo’s recently had their grand reopening and is already receiving acclaim for its new inspired Pan-Latin menu and fresh, quality cocktails.
