  • Buena Park to Resume Street Sweeping Citations

Please remember to move your vehicle

The City of Buena Park is resuming street sweeping parking citations on Thursday, September 24. Courtesy reminders are being handed out starting today through Sept. 23.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, on March 17, 2020 City Council decided to suspend street sweeping parking citations to provide some relief to residents adhering to the safer at home order. As orders were lifted and lessened, street sweeping citations resumed on June 15, 2020. Then again as closures and safer at home orders were once again issued, City Council once again suspended street sweeping citations on July 13, 2020.

Orange County and Buena Park are moving forward in the reopening framework. Just this week, the state is permitting businesses such as restaurants, nail salons, and gyms in the county to reopen indoor operations at a limited capacity.

With this change, the Buena Park City Council has decided to resume street sweeping parking citations on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Courtesy reminders are being handed out starting today through Sept. 23, 2020.
