Description
Ken Blanchard, author of the bestseller “The One Minute Manager,” is the featured speaker for the March 13 Cal State Fullerton Center for Family Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The event will honor four Southern California-based and family-owned companies. One honoree is recognized in each of four categories: excellence in the community, strength in succession, maintaining and honoring the founder’s vision and commitment to education.
Blanchard has sold more than 13 million copies of “The One Minute Manager” and penned 59 other books. He is co-founder and chief spiritual officer of The Ken Blanchard Companies, an international management training and consulting firm that he and his wife, Marjorie, launched in San Diego 40 years ago.
“Dr. Blanchard’s message of steward leadership should resonate with our family business leaders,” said Ed Hart, director of the Center for Family Business. “So much of what our Hall of Fame inductees, past and upcoming, have in common is the value and commitment to great leadership, and truly understanding their stewardship over the businesses, families and employees.”
