Confirmed matchmaking participants include: Department of General Services Department of General Services (GSA) received a rating of A from SBA’s FY2016 Small Business Procurement Scorecard. GSA exceeded all of their small business goals for the year which amounted to $1.6B in small business contracts and another $19B in subcontracts. GSA implemented the “Making It Easier” initiative to offer a more efficient and straightforward process for small business and companies new to the federal market. GSA also launched the GSA Forecast Tool, a GSA-engineered product, to make it easier for small business vendors to find potential contracting opportunities with the Federal Government. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Los Angeles District The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) fully supports the government’s policy of placing a fair proportion of our contracts with qualified small, small disadvantaged, woman‐owned, HUBZone, veteran‐owned and service‐disabled veteran‐owned business concerns. The USACE surpassed 4 of the 6 small business goals in FY 2016 which amounted to $1.4B in prime contracts awarded to small business.
